It's official - I love weddings. I love the excitement, the anticipation, the ability to be really creative...all of it. And when I get a bride and groom who want original, fun, funky shots, it makes my job even better. Jennifer and Chris were so fun - and extremely photogenic to boot, so my job was great. Everyone was so laid back, and the best part was that I knew everyone in her bridal party; I used to coach many of them in high school volleyball! Again, I had a horrible time narrowing down favorites, so I just went on a posting frenzy. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Beautiful December Wedding

Back in the fall when I did Jared and Heather's engagement shoot, I mentioned how excited I was to do the wedding because I had babysat for the groom when he was a little guy. Wow - that has a way of making me feel REALLY old. Well, it was a blast, and everyone was willing to try anything I suggested. It didn't hurt that Heather is disgustingly beautiful. And calm. And SO sweet. It truly was a great day, and I'm so glad I got to capture it for them. As you can tell, I had a hard time narrowing down my faves.

Portrait Party

This was one of the portrait parties I did this year...for $40, each of the guests received 6 portraits + a Christmas card on a disc. It was freezing outside, but the kiddos were very cooperative, and the pics were a success. A portrait party is a great way to get some cute images at a low price, and to have fun with your friends. I love doing them!

I'm alive, and ready to kick off the New Year!

Well, despite being away from this blog for a long time, I am back, and ready to jump into some new shoots. I had to have an IV Picc line in my arm/chest for a month to fight a bad infection in my sinuses. NOT fun - especially when one is very largely pregnant. The Picc is now out, and I've been back on here processing, and choosing my fave shots from 2008. I'll post the rest of my shoots from '08, and then I'll get to the fun picks of my faves. Thanks for checking in still, and I promise to have lots of eye candy coming your way! Now, I'll start with a wedding I did back in November. Gorgeous couple.
