Isabella

Did a shoot this morning for some friends of ours and their little girl Isabella. I don't think she could take a bad photo; this kid's got photogenic stamped all over her. Man, is she adorable, or what?!

Beautiful Boys

I love taking photos of Gus because he's so darn cute, and his eyes are amazing. And I love the pic of Coop because I think he looks dashingly handsome. Maxy has CRAZY eyes in his "stay back from the bear," pic, and I love his genuine happiness before he goes down the slide. Enjoy!

Beautiful Iss

I love this picture for so many reasons. It was an accidental capture as she was turning her head to look down at her gift. Her hair is sort of blown looking and I love her expression. I 'washed out' some of the color but kept the noise and added some texture. It's different, but I think it shows her beauty in a unique way.

14!

Alyssa (Iss), my baby-sitter/cousin/photography assistant, turned 14 last Saturday. We celebrated at our house with a party. We made a cup-cake tower that was a hit, and the chili and nachos weren't too bad either. It was a great night.

First Haircut

What a trip. Maxy HATED every minute of it, but we figured he would considering he runs in sheer terror at the sight of his brothers in the chair. So, we came armed with Mimi, cell phones, pictures, and anything else that might keep his attention. I'm surprised Jeff was able to cut it at all, but he did, and it looks great. Here are a few from the nerve-wracking 15 minutes of hair-cutting hell.

A new technique...

Here are a couple more from my first senior shoot. I've been playing around with some textures, and I came up with this. I like the edgy feel of them.

I have lots of pics coming...I just haven't had time to get any on here. I've been an organizing freak and since I'm on a roll, I don't want to stop. I promise though, I will have some on here by day's end. All of my bookings for July just happen to fall at the end of the month, so they are coming as well, but it will be a couple weeks for those. We had our own celebration on Tuesday...here are a few from that. I LOVE the one of Jenni and Gus. His eyes are amazing! The one of the Sam and Coleton on the chair is out of focus, but I love how excited they are about the upcoming fireworks display. I remember that excitement well.

We Are FAM-I-LY!

I was the 'official' photographer at our annual family Fourth of July cookout, and I had a blast. Here are a few from the day. The first two photos are of my grandparents. 'Pappy' has held the party at his house since I was a baby. That's a LONG time ago. I love the photo of them, and I really love the one of my 'gramma' planting a smooch on him. The one of Max shows him in his normal mode: meltdown. The little cutie who's eating his tootsies is my baby cousin. He's my granddad's first great-great grandchild!
