My Morning Sunshine

In the mornings, after Sam is off to school and Coop is still asleep, Maxy gets up, and immediately requests breakfast. Almost always, it's a bowl of cereal, followed by three more bowls. I'm not kidding; the kid eats like a horse. Every morning, without fail, he wants to toast me with his cup of juice or water. In his sweet little voice with his cup in the air, he'll say, "Cheews, Mommy." And when he tinks his juice glass against my cup of coffee, I always say, "Here's to Maxy and his new day; may it be a great one." How did I get so lucky to share a toast with my own little cup of sunshine every morning?

Attention

That's what I need to give this blog. I spent so much time and energy getting my website up that I have neglected this blog a bit. I've been busy processing a wedding shoot, and I have some more baby stuff to post, but I decided that in between shoots, I'm going to post about SOMEthing everyday. Hopefully I'll even have a pic to accompany the posts.

I've found that since I've been doing photography pretty heavily, I've lost the time to really be creative. I love to scrapbook and make any kind of paper crafts from cards to journals. I've had the opportunity to make some collages for a couple clients, and it's so fun! I love doing it. And, it's giving me incentive to do creative stuff with the kids. Anyway, here's an example of my latest collage.

Meet Mr. C.....so tiny and so beautiful. He was ver alert for many of the photos, and his big sis is just adorable. We did this shoot in my kitchen; I have great natural afternoon light and it was perfect for the mood. I loved this shoot.

Boys in Action

We had a combined birthday party for Sam and Coop on Saturday...we had it at our local YMCA's gymnastics center, and it was awesome! The kids had so much fun, and so did we; we'll definitely do it again. We also requested that their guests bring bags of pet food instead of gifts - this is the pic of them with the loot at our local animal shelter. They were very proud of themselves, and so were we.

The last couple weeks have been a nightmare of html code, timed-out server uploads, and LONG customer service phone calls. But finally, I have it up - my website is finished! I have some tweaking to do, but I like it. I hope you'll check it out.

Follow-up Senior shoot

These are some we did of D the other day. We had done almost all of them back in November, but we needed to get some better suit pics, and a couple more casual pics since it was so cold in November. I love the way they turned out - especially the b/w of him against the white door. LOVE it.

I can't believe 'my' OJ's nine months!!!

And I feel so lucky to have been able to capture these precious times in her life. Thanks A and R - it means SO much to me. As per the usual Olivia, she was a complete doll. So. So. So. Cute.
