Beautiful December Wedding

Back in the fall when I did Jared and Heather's engagement shoot, I mentioned how excited I was to do the wedding because I had babysat for the groom when he was a little guy. Wow - that has a way of making me feel REALLY old. Well, it was a blast, and everyone was willing to try anything I suggested. It didn't hurt that Heather is disgustingly beautiful. And calm. And SO sweet. It truly was a great day, and I'm so glad I got to capture it for them. As you can tell, I had a hard time narrowing down my faves.

Portrait Party

This was one of the portrait parties I did this year...for $40, each of the guests received 6 portraits + a Christmas card on a disc. It was freezing outside, but the kiddos were very cooperative, and the pics were a success. A portrait party is a great way to get some cute images at a low price, and to have fun with your friends. I love doing them!

I'm alive, and ready to kick off the New Year!

Well, despite being away from this blog for a long time, I am back, and ready to jump into some new shoots. I had to have an IV Picc line in my arm/chest for a month to fight a bad infection in my sinuses. NOT fun - especially when one is very largely pregnant. The Picc is now out, and I've been back on here processing, and choosing my fave shots from 2008. I'll post the rest of my shoots from '08, and then I'll get to the fun picks of my faves. Thanks for checking in still, and I promise to have lots of eye candy coming your way! Now, I'll start with a wedding I did back in November. Gorgeous couple. Oh Finley...

I can't describe how unbelievably cute this kid is. There are no words. But, I do think the pics speak a thousand words much more elequently than I can.

Remember Mattye and Cam?

They're getting bigger and cuter! We had a terribly dark day, but I used my bounce flash, and we were able to get some good pics anyway. The close-up of Mattye truly shows off her gorgeous skin and eyes.

Oh My, Mr. Gabe...

I was lucky enough to capture Mr. Gabe in all his rosy cheeked glory again. I tell ya, this is one gorgeous kid. He has quite possibly the chewiest cheeks on the planet. I. HEART. Gabe.
