Miss Lilly

Since her big sis has graced the pages of this site on many occasions, we felt we should get Lilly on her asap! She is so tiny, and new, and squishy, and kissable! Oh - I LOOOOOVVVVVEEEEE new babies. LOVE them. She had no intentions of sleeping, though, so some shots were out, but we did get plenty of awake and alert shots, and I love them just as much. Congrats, Olivia Jane, on your beautiful baby sis!

Gorgeous Kids and Perfect Light....

A PERFECT combination. And, not only were these kids gorgeous, they were so polite and well-mannered. AND, and, and...they were cooperative! Don't get me wrong, I don't mind kids who aren't in the mood for pics...it just makes my job that much more fun when I can just shoot and the kiddos just go along for the ride. Thanks guys - I loved spending time with your beautiful family!

I Do, I Do, I Do!

Loved this wedding. And, I can say that I saw something happen that I've never seen before...the bride and groom released doves (or homing pigeons I've since learned) after the cermony. Well, as soon as the birds were placed in the couples' hands, Aimee (sorry about the misspelling, Miss A!) got a little scared and let go too soon. Like, in the church to soon. Like, the bird was flying around in the sanctuary too soon. They were able to let the other one go, but the one trapped in the church proved to be a stinker. He flew inside the pipe organ and wouldn't come out. It looked grim for the little guy, but alas, a church member was able to wrangle him up a couple days later. Both birds are now safely back at home, and Aimee and Mark lived happily ever after.

Mac and Baby Ella

This shoot was special for me because Mac was my first newborn shoot, and one of my very first 'anything' shoots! Getting to capture his baby sis was real treat. And on a serious note, just a week after these photos were taken, Baby Ella was lifelined to Riley hospital with a heart ailment. She's okay now, but will have to take meds all of her life. Thank God her Mama had the instincts to know something wasn't quite right with her baby. I'm so grateful that Miss Ella will be home soon. Keep them in your prayers, please!

Two Beauties...

This was my third shoot with Miss I and her little sis Miss A. And they're even more beautiful this year. I used a candy coated action on these to give them a dreamy feel as the mood just fit right. I'm really pleased with them.

Senior Shoot

I have known Nettie for several years now, and I can't believe she's a senior! We had a blast at her shoot and were able to utilize the evening light to capture some really cool shots. I LOVE the one of her below...so cool!

Baby Jude

I LOVE his name. And despite the fact that he DID NOT want his picture taken, I think we got some pretty sweet shots!

Changes!

Well, I was feeling girly and so I changed up the blog to fit that mood. I like it for now. And, the cutie in the header?! Mr. Leyton is his name, and his eyes are fantastically big and beautiful! Anyway, I've got lots of new things to talk about, and LOTS of photos to publish. So, to get right to it, here's some shots from a recent wedding. I absolutely love the genuine emotion from these two - it was truly heartwarming to be a part of their beautiful day. Congrats Brian and Amy!
