What a doll; I absolutely loved the way he kicked his leg out when he walked...I wanted to scoop him up and cover him with smooches!

Merry Christmas!
I can't believe it's finally here. I've actually enjoyed this holiday season so much, and I know a big part of it is because I found something that I truly LOVE to do. I feel so lucky to have worked with everyone of my clients, and I so look forward to creating new memories in the upcoming new year.
I have one more shoot before Christmas, but I won't have it processed or posted until after the holidays are over, so this it until then.
I've started filling up quickly for February already, so please, if you would like a weekend shoot, let me know asap. Also, I'm booking 12 weddings for 2008, and I have four in the books, so if you know someone who's interested in booking me for their wedding, please have them contact me so we can lock in his/her date. My new website will be launched in late January. I'll never get rid of the blog, but the website will have everything in one place, and you can order directly from it. I'm really excited about it. I'll have all my new booking/pricing/policy info on it, so it will be full of answers to the questions I get asked most.
Again, thank you for making this year such a spectacular one. I couldn't be more excited about the upcoming one. And since I was a lame-o and didn't send cards, I thought I would post this here. Merry Christmas, Everyone.

Last of the Chicago shoots...
The light in this house was amazing, and I told them not to be surprised if I show up there with future clients. ;) Seriously though, every room in their house was ideal for natural light photos, and Miss E was a natural with the camera. Her little brother had other ideas, but I caught some cute ones of him when he was mostly unaware! I love how at ease they seem with each other, and how E's genuine emotion shows through her gorgeous eyes - she was so expressive! Thank you guys for letting me capture your family!

Baby Chub Abounds...
Little Miss P was a doll; I had to use my flash to keep up with her movements! She was so happy and content, and she knew how to work a camera - Watch out Mom and Dad! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree though; Mom and Dad were pretty cute, too...thank you "3P's" - I had a ball capturing your beautiful family.
Party of Five...
I love seeing the dynamics of families of three young children because it gives me insight into what my own family looks like to the rest of the world. And it's so cool when you get to witness it while doing your favorite thing in the world; capturing them with your camera! This was my favorite kind of shoot; easy-going, natural, and full of fun energy... Thanks guys, for the opportunity to meet you and capture you guys just as you are.

Twins!
My first twin shoot...and they were very identical, in my opinio of course. And big sis was a hoot; she is beautiful and her big personality balances that quite nicely. I had a great time playing with them and just chatting around their table. One of my favorite shots came when they were enjoying their snacks!
